Ice Barcelona consolidates its strategic partnership with Cibelae, strengthening its commitment to the Latin American industry.
Ice Barcelona strengthens its established strategic alliance with Cibelae (Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas de Estado), reaffirming the shared commitment of both organizations in promoting responsible gaming and advancing sustainability initiatives in Latin America.
The renewed collaboration builds on a partnership that has lasted over a decade. As the Ibero-American regional association of the World Lottery Association (WLA), Cibelae represents government-regulated lotteries in Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.
To celebrate the strengthening of the partnership, Liliana Costa and Alessandra Narcisi, senior members of the Clarion Gaming team, participated in the XIX Cibelae Congress, where they organized a dedicated initiative for a Cibelae member, allowing them to win a fully paid VIP trip to attend Ice Barcelona in January. The winner, Alan Marin Roldan, general director of JPS – Junta de Protección Social of Costa Rica, received the prize during the Congress’s official dinner.
Rodrigo Cigliutti, executive director of Cibelae, states: “At Cibelae we are proud to have hosted what represents a truly important event for the lottery sector, bringing together a large number of regulatory authorities and competent authorities from across Latin America, but also from Europe. The participation of Ice Barcelona and Clarion Gaming, world leaders in our sector, significantly strengthened the event. In collaboration with Ice Barcelona, we were also pleased to offer a participant the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive trip and experience in Barcelona in January, a gesture that reflects the spirit of collaboration we are committed to promoting. We reaffirm our gratitude to Ice Barcelona and Clarion Gaming for their commitment and for taking part in this edition of the Cibelae Congress.”
Liliana Costa of Clarion Gaming adds: “We are pleased that Cibelae will be present at Ice Barcelona to provide insights and expert analysis at the Lotteries Conference, further strengthening our strategic alliance and reflecting Latin America’s growing influence on the global gaming scene. I am pleased to confirm that Ice Barcelona will also welcome key representatives from Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia, who will take part in customized content streams within Academia América Latina, the highly anticipated training and networking platform we are launching that will promote regional education, best practices, and inter-market collaboration.”
