SBC Lisbon once again proved to be a hub for valuable discussions on the future of payments — and Aircash was right at the heart of the conversation
With industry leaders gathering to debate innovation, regulation, and user experience, Aircash executives brought forward perspectives shaped by years of experience in gaming and financial technology.
On the panel “Omnichannel payments: from digital wallets to bricks & mortar terminals” Mark W., Executive Director of iGaming at Aircash, joined Antony Jordan (ODDSET Sportwetten GmbH), Marc Cregan (Worldpay), Roberta Gamenho C. Guedes (BetBoom Latam), and Andrea McGeachin (Neosurf).
Mark emphasized the critical balance between innovation and security in payments: “Omnichannel payments, the challenge is to integrate security and flexibility… It has to be safe, secure, innovative and gaming-friendly.”
He also underlined that transitioning players from retail to online isn’t just a matter of technology but also a cultural shift — a process that requires trust, familiarity, and a seamless experience for players across channels. In another key session, “Payment innovation in new and emerging markets,” Filip Marušić, Aircash’s Sales Operations Team Lead, contributed to discussions on building sustainable payment ecosystems. He shared the stage with Olena Demchenko (Fdj United), Tope Michael Oni (Starlight Ace Verde Gaming), Atis Ivanovs (Unlimit), and Gary Clarke (PagSeguro International), under the moderation of Ilya Machavariani (4H Agency).
The panel explored how innovation, regulation, and local expertise must align to create effective payment infrastructures in rapidly evolving regions. With diverse perspectives on regulatory frameworks and market dynamics, the discussion highlighted the importance of adaptability and trust when designing solutions for new audiences. From omnichannel strategies to emerging markets, Aircash’s contributions at SBC Lisbon reflected the company’s commitment to driving secure, innovative, and user-centered payment solutions for the global gaming industry.
