The SBC Awards 2025 were presented at the Lisbon Summit at the Meo Arena before an audience of 1,200, with Edwin Van Der Sar hosting.
EveryMatrix, Kaizen Gaming, Optimove, and Sportradar were among the notable winners at last night’s SBC Awards 2025 ceremony, held at the Meo Arena in Lisbon
On the final day of the SBC Summit, Thursday, September 18, the 12th edition of the awards took place, celebrating the extraordinary achievements of industry leaders, operators, and suppliers in key areas, including payments, marketing, and platform innovation.
The evening was hosted by legendary Dutch goalkeeper and international Edwin Van Der Sar, who presented 37 awards to an audience of 1,200 industry leaders and stakeholders.
It was a memorable evening for Kaizen Gaming, which retained the title of Operator of the Year – Large and also won the Sports Betting Operator of the Year award. 8888.bg won the title of Operator of the Year – Small, while Vegas Legends won the Operator of the Year – Medium award.
Among other categories, Betsson Group was named Casino Operator of the Year, while 1xBet won the Marketing Campaign award. Novibet was celebrated for its innovative approach to gaming, winning the Innovation in Casino and Gaming Entertainment award.
In the Rising Star categories, awards went to BetMGM Europe as a Rising Star in Casino and to Boomerang as a Rising Star in Sports Betting.
In the Payments and Compliance categories, Nuvei dethroned last year’s winner Pay4Fun, winning the Payment Solution of the Year award. GeoComply was awarded the Fraud and Compliance Solution of the Year award, while Payhound won the Payments Innovation of the Year award.
Spotlighting exceptional leadership and company culture, SOFTSWISS was once again crowned Employer of the Year, while the prestigious Leader of the Year award was jointly presented to Natalia Nogues (Control F5) and Vigen Badalyan (BetConstruct).
In the supplier categories, BetConstruct earned further recognition, winning the White Label Supplier of the Year award. EveryMatrix successfully defended its Multichannel Supplier of the Year title, also winning the Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year award.
Sportradar reaffirmed its leadership with wins for both the Sports Data Product and the Land-Based Betting and Gaming Product. Optimove also achieved double success, winning Marketing and Services Provider of the Year and Acquisition and Loyalty Partner of the Year awards.
In the casino sector, Pragmatic Play was awarded Slot Developer of the Year – Large, while BGaming and Kendoo won Slot Developer of the Year – Medium and Small, respectively.
