Play’n GO games are now available in land-based casinos thanks to the collaboration initiated with operator Genting.
The game portfolio of Play’n GO, the world’s leading casino games entertainment provider, is available in land-based casinos for the first time in its legendary twenty-year history.
The launch of Play’n GO games in land-based casinos is the result of an extensive partnership between the Swedish company and the global gambling giant Genting.
Boom Slots, a new cabinet developed exclusively for Genting properties, sees an initial batch of 13 Play’n GO titles make their land-based casino debut, including the world’s most played online slots: Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Honey Rush 100, and Buildin’ Bucks.
Play’n GO games have been available in the UK land-based sector, at Genting’s iconic Resorts World Casino in Birmingham, for over six months during the trial phase.
The launch is now accelerating across Genting’s more than 30 casinos throughout the UK, including London’s largest casino, Genting Stratford, with the full launch, including an initial batch of 13 Play’n GO games, scheduled for December.
Genting is one of the world’s largest land-based casino operators, with its premium properties extending from Las Vegas to Malaysia.
From its beginnings developing casino games for mobile phones before the invention of the smartphone, Play’n GO is now one of the leading entertainment providers for the casino sector, with over 400 premium game titles available through operators in more than 35 regulated jurisdictions.
CEO COMMENT – Johan Törnqvist, CEO and co-founder of Play’n GO, comments: “This is a historic day for Play’n GO and the culmination of a shared vision between Genting and Play’n GO: to bring the best of online casino content and features to gaming floors worldwide.
Play’n GO’s mission is to ‘create innovative and entertaining gaming experiences everywhere’. We’re excited to expand the definition of ‘everywhere’ to include land-based casinos for the first time.
The vision for our new land-based business is unmistakably Play’n GO: ambitious, innovative, and meticulously planned to address the business challenges and opportunities of the future. We believe there is an opportunity to deploy tens of thousands of cabinets with Play’n GO content worldwide.
Genting has been a brilliant partner throughout this project, and we look forward to working closely with their fantastic teams to develop this initial UK launch and ensure its success,” he concludes.
